SignPath was founded in 2017 by RUBICON IT, a leading European software company, providing software and related services to the public sector and enterprise customers in Central and Western Europe. Since 2023, SignPath is an independent private company.

As software teams started releasing updates faster and more often, it became even more important to prove where every piece of code came from, who touched it, and that it’s safe to run.
Back in 2017, while working at RUBICON IT — a leading European software company — we saw how brittle and siloed code signing was. Security was treated like a final checkpoint, not a continuous thread. So we built SignPath: a platform for complete software supply chain security, without the complexity.
What started as an internal solution has grown into a standalone company. Since 2023, we’ve been operating Independently, helping teams around the world deliver software their users can trust.
